An Inclined Platform Lift (IPL) is a cost-effective, flexible alternative to traditional vertical wheelchair lifts. They can be installed commercial or residential staircases and are perfect ways to add handicap accessibility to an existing location. The lift can be called from any landing it services, and is controlled by the user: No help is required. It has safety arms, under-platform sensors and easy to use directional buttons.
Our two leading models are the Xpress II and the GSL-Artira. The Xpress II is used for short, straight staircases while the Artira runs on a track that can bend around multiple corners. Either can function as an outdoor wheelchair lift or an indoor lift. They can be custom-finished to match the building. The drive motor in the Xpress II is enclosed on the lift platform itself, simplifying installation, while the Artira has a more powerful drive that enables it to travel a longer distance.
